- 1 3.9-ounce package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 4 ounces whipped topping half of an 8-ounce container
- Marshmallow Layer
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1 7-ounce jar marshmallow creme
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ounces whipped topping remaining half
- Assembly
- 9 whole graham crackers enough for 3 layers
- ½ cup mini chocolate chips optional
- Chocolate syrup for drizzling (optional)
- Crushed graham crackers for garnish (optional)
In a large bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Fold in half of the whipped topping until smooth and creamy.
In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, marshmallow creme, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in the remaining whipped topping until light and fluffy.
Line the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking dish with a layer of graham crackers. Spread the chocolate pudding mixture evenly over the crackers. Add another layer of graham crackers.
Spread the marshmallow mixture evenly over the graham crackers. Top with the final layer of graham crackers. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
Remove the dessert from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for about 5 minutes to soften slightly.
Slice into squares and serve immediately. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and garnish with mini chocolate chips or crushed graham crackers, if desired.
