Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Optional Chocolate Topping
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • Cream together butter, peanut butter, and both sugars until fluffy.
  • Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • Mix together the dry ingredients and gradually add them to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 22–28 minutes until lightly golden and set.
  • Cool completely before slicing. Add the optional chocolate topping if desired.
